Lebanon Emergency Relief Aid

As winter approaches, many refugee families in Lebanon find themselves without shelter, warmth, or basic necessities due to recent air strikes and ground assaults. Forced to flee their homes in search of safety, they now face harsh and dangerous conditions, often sleeping on the streets, in cars, or under trees. The cold, unforgiving nights are fast approaching, making their need for shelter even more urgent.

At Living Lotus Therapy, we believe in supporting those who need it most, and we’re honored to back Rise Up Humanity in their mission to provide essential resources to vulnerable families. Rise Up Humanity has mobilized a team on the ground in Lebanon, and they’ve secured land to create a shelter center for families who have already experienced unimaginable trauma.

Their plan is practical and immediate: build tent structures made from wood and canvas, outfitted with the basic facilities required for warmth and safety, including mattresses, blankets, and bathroom access. With just $500, they can shelter a family of four to five, keeping them safe from the harsh elements and giving them a place to rest and recover.

How You Can Help:

  • Donate: Every dollar counts, and your contribution goes directly to the project.
  • Spread the Word: Share our campaign with friends, family, and your community to increase our reach.
  • Advocate: Be part of the conversation about the urgent needs of those who have lost everything in Lebanon.

We are committed to making a difference for those in need, and we invite you to join us. Together, we can offer comfort, dignity, and hope to these families. Thank you for your generosity and support.

Thank you for your support,

Decolonizing How We Look at Autism

colorful letters on a surface

Many people considering an autism diagnosis encounter frustration. Accessibility issues, insurance barriers, and a lack of clear starting points all contribute to the challenge. Perhaps most disheartening is the possibility of scoring just below the diagnostic threshold despite living the experience. This frustration stems in part from a system heavily influenced by capitalist and colonialist perspectives. It’s time to critically examine these paradigms.
